The Client

Bellwoods Brewery was running a brewery with a beer take-out and a small restaurant business, and wanted to expand its capacity. The client took the property adjacent to their existing location and brought PT in to turn two buildings into one operation. PT has a long-term relationship with Bellwoods Brewery as their go-to contractor.

The Build

Bellwoods Brewery's project is an expansion construction in Ossington, Toronto delivered while the business kept running. PT built out the adjacent property as a turn-key project, with the brewery, beer take-out, and restaurant next door open throughout the renovation.

Only when the new building was finished did the old business stop for one week while PT cut an opening into the partition wall and connected the two buildings into a single operation. Along the way, PT also helped the client secure the zoning approval needed to open a restaurant. PT also completed patio and structural work for Bellwoods at their production site at 20 Hafiz Road.

Frequently Asked Questions.

PT built the expansion in the adjacent building while the existing brewery and restaurant business kept operating. The only closure was a single week at the end, to connect the new building to the old one.

By finishing the new building first. PT completed the renovation of the new property, then stopped the existing business for one week, cut an opening into the partition wall, and joined the two buildings; the operating business was closed for only that single week.

PT General Contractor delivered the expansion as a turn-key project: the construction of the adjacent building, the connection between the two, and help securing the zoning approval to open a restaurant.
